About Our SponsorThe Coalition for the Advancement of Student ActivitiesThe Coalition for the Advancement of Student Activities is a non-profit educational corporation that was founded by student activity advisers to promote excellence in cocurricular programming. In addition to providing training conferences for advisers, CASA sponsors the Student Leadership Training Program. Cocurricular Activities provide the best platform for interactive experiential learning of the life skills necessary for success in college and in later life - yet very little is done to prepare teachers, advisers, sponsors or coaches. CASA was founded to fill that void. CASA began sponsoring adviser training seminars in 1993 and took over the sponsorship of SLTP in 1994. CASA is committed to STUDENT based leadership. Every phase of CASA’s sponsorship is driven towards that purpose - - from the workshops at the conferences through the curriculum of SLTP and even including staff selection. For more information:
